Join Silence the Violence Foundation for our next annual youth talent show in New Orleans. Every year, the Annual Silence the Violence Talent Show and City Wide Festival features some of the best young entertainers, singers, rappers, poets, school bands and dancers in the city, encouraging youth to pursue and perfect their art.

What It Is

Through advertisements in schools and local youth organizations, our nonprofit organization invites talented children, teens, and young adults up to 21 years of age to compete in this exciting show. Simply request an application through our contact form to earn your shot at the top prize.

Audition & Competition Information

Preliminary auditions will be held by appointment at the House of Faith Non-Denomination Ministries. Our judges will then select five finalists to compete at the event. The prize of $1000 will be awarded in the amount of $200 to the winner in each category and to the overall grand prize winner.

Guest Performers

Performers from the community are welcome to join us and perform during judging breaks and between talent categories. If you are interested in speaking or performing at this year's event, please send us an email!
